(MENAFN) The central bank revealed that the cost of making South Korean money has boosted by 4.4% during the past year from 2015.
In addition, the central bank also stated that the country has spent a total of 150.3 billion won on printing bank notes and producing coins in 2016.
The BOK posted that S. Korea spent 53.7 billion won to mint coins in the previous year, declined by 200 million won from a year earlier.
Accordingly, the central bank official further said the country has printed additional 50,000 won bills during 2016 compared with 2015.
