OIC Condemns terrorist act in Afghanistan

Jeddah, Rabi'II 13, 1438, January 11, 2017, SPA -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its condemnation of the terrorist act carried out in the Afghan city of Kandahar on 10 January 2017, which led to killing 5 officials of United Arab Emirates engaging in humanitarian, educational and developmental duties in Afghanistan.
The Secretary General of the OIC, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen expressed his condemnation of this cowardly and despicable act, re-emphasizing once again that terrorism has neither religion nor nationality, expressing his condolences to the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the families of the victims, wishing the injured quick recovery.
The Secretary General reiterated the OIC's principled position which strongly condemns terrorism and extremism in all their forms and manifestations.
