UAE grants USD200mn to Jordanian medical project


(MENAFN) The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) proclaimed that it will fund the project to increase the King Hussein Medical City in Jordan by USD200mn.

Moreover, the funding is part of five-year grant by the UAE to the kingdom, with a total value of USD1.25bn.

In addition, the first phase of the project involves the building of a new hospital, with a capacity of 940 beds.

On the other hand, the fund will also follow the global medical standards and will serve almost 1200 patients per day.
