Hacker group attacks on Japan sites surge JAL ties up with IBM


(MENAFN- Asia Times) The hacker group 'Anonymous' is suspected to be behind a surge in attacks on Internet homepages of government and public offices in Japan, the Yomiuri newspaper reported. A total of 108 of the cyber attacks have been reported since September raising calls for more preventive measures.

Japan Airlines ties up with IBM on aircraft maintenance

Japan Airlines will use statistical analysis software developed by Japan IBM to collect data on aircraft mechanical operations to improve maintenance operations and schedules, the airline announced Wednesday, according to the Nikkei newspaper.
