GCC Summit begins in Bahrain


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Manama, Bahrain- Deliberations of the 37th GCC Summit began at Al Sakhir Palace in Bahrain on Tuesday evening.

The sultanate's delegation is being led by H H Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.

The leaders discussed political, security and economic issues to ensure more cooperation and integration among the GCC states for the prosperity of people in the region.

They also discussed the decisions and recommendations made by various Ministerial Committees, the GCC Consultative Authority and the GCC Secretariat General on various fields.

Sayyid Fahd is being accompanied by an official delegation comprising ministers and government officials.
