(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Shihab al Habsi, the 13 year old go-karting champion from Muscat, added another feather in his cap when he claimed the top honours in the X30 junior class during the third round of the UAE X30 Challenge Series in Ras al Khaimah recently.
Shihab, who had missed the second round due to the demise of his grandfather, was among the top three from the practice to the final rounds.

In the final race, Shihab outpaced Constantin Reisch to win the title finishing the 17 laps in a time of 11m43.479s with his best time of 40.904s recorded in the penultimate lap.
Manaf Hijjawi finished third. After three rounds, Shihab leads the championship standings with a win and third-place finish in the opening round.
