(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- McDonald's Oman (Al Daud Restaurants) was a proud sponsor of Oman Flag Candles 2016, an event that helped Oman successfully set a new world record and enter The Guinness Book of Records for its candle-lit Omani national flag.
Organised by the National Initiative Fellowship Fund for the benefit of Ministry of Health Employees, Oman Flag Candles 2016 lit up the Qurum Amphitheatre forming the shape and colours of the Omani flag, marking the celebration of the country's 46th National Day. The event was said to be the largest of its kind with over 2,000 school children taking part in the celebration and singing patriotic songs.
McDonald's Oman proudly took part in such an event congratulating His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the people in Oman in the celebration of the country's National Day.
