Egypt's foreign reserves surpass USD23bn


(MENAFN) Egypt's net international reserves reached USD23.058bn at the end of November this year, increasing by USD4.017bn from its level in Oct.

Moreover, the country's foreign exchange reserves reached USD19.041bn in Oct, USD19.592bn in Sep, USD16.564bn in August and USD15.536bn in July.

The Central Bank of Egypt decided to float the Egyptian pound, which means that exchange rates will be decided according to the market"s supply and demand.

Recently, the Egyptian foreign reserves could reach USD28bn by the end of this year due to the current finance and loan deals.
