S. Korea's corporate loans increase in Q3 for USD13.3b


(MENAFN) S. Korean Central Bank data showed that loans extended to local businesses increased slightly in Q3 comparing to a quarter earlier on increased facility investments.

Accordingly, corporate loans climbed by USD13.3b, or 1.6% in the July-September period to 986.4tr won from three months earlier, as the Q3 results marked a 5.9% gain.

Additionally, the bank said that loans extended for companies' operating expenses posted increase by 1.1% in Q3 to 603.2tr won, and up 13.1% from a year earlier.

Also, loans to services companies increased sharply 8.9% year-on-year to 556.4tr won at the end of September.
