Kuwait Shooting Club to organize PAS tourney - Shooting competition starts Dec 2

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30, (Agencies): Kuwait Shooting Club will organize the Public Authority for Sports Tournament at the Shooting Range Complex in Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Complex on Dec 2-4.

The tournament will include shooting games of cartouche skeet, trap, double trap, shooting gun, 10m rifle and 50m rifle categories as well as Olympic bow and arrow shooting.

Sharpshooters from Sheikh Saad Academy for Olympic Shooting and juniors will participate in the tournament.

Head of Kuwait Shooting Federation Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi affirmed the commitment of Public Authority for Sports led by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour towards enhancing the shooting sport by providing all necessary support to the club to guarantee success and encourage shooters to continue achieving at local and international levels.

Al-Otaibi explained that the board of directors of the club is working towards providing the shooters with everything required for preparing them to be competitive so that they reach high technical form. The arenas for cartouche, bullet weapons and arena for bow and arrows have already been equipped and are ready. Technical plans have already been put in place by the referee committee in addition to distribution of roles and tasks.

The tournament will conclude on Wednesday, December 4 with a prize distribution ceremony at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Complex at 7 pm.
