UK's manufacturing exports boosted by weakness of sterling


(MENAFN) According to the latest report from the CBI, UK manufacturing exports received a boost from the weakness of sterling.

The Industrial Trends Survey showed that exports' volumes increased at their fastest pace for two and a half years in the last three months to October.

However, Rain Newton-Smith, CBI chief economist said: "Manufacturers are optimistic about export prospects and export orders are growing, following the fall in sterling."
