UAE records Dh553.4bn in non-oil trade


(MENAFN) The non-oil trade of the UAE grew by 3 percent to Dh17.7bn in the first half of this year, reaching Dh553.4bn compared to Dh535.7bn in the same period of 2015.

Meanwhile, Asia, Australia and the Pacific regions remained the main trading partners with a share of Dh211.3bn accounting for 39 percent of the trade.

In addition, Europe ranked second, with a share of Dh139.9bn or 26 percent and the MENA region came next with a share of Dh92.9bn or 17 percent.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia was the country's top GCC non-oil trade partner with a share of Dh18.4bn, introducing 36 percent of the UAE"s non-oil trade.
