UAE- Mohamed bin Zayed discusses Syria, region during call from UK Prime minister

ABU DHABI, 23rd October, 2016 (WAM)-- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a telephone call from Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May, during which they discussed developments in the region, with a focus on the crisis in Syria and the suffering of the Syrian people.

They also reviewed developments in the global coalition against terrorism and the efforts of both countries in establishing security and stability in the region.

Additionally, they spoke of bolstering the historical friendship, co-operation and historical ties between the two countries and their peoples to serve the common interests, as well as underlined the importance of expanding co-operation and continuing the enhancement of bilateral relations and partnerships to benefit the peoples of both countries.
