Morocco- Video: Chanel Chooses Chefchaouen for New Collection Photo Shoot

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) France's fashion brand, Chanel, chose Morocco's blue city Chefchaouen as the site for its photo shoot of its latest fashion collection entitled 'Resort 2017.'

The new collection's promotional clip, posted on YouTube last week, shows a model strutting the collection's new pieces in the blue and white painted alleyways of Chefchaouen.

Chanel shot the video for Conde Nast Traveler UK. Elizaveta Porodina, Chanel's photographer expressed on Facebook her happiness to be a part of this work.

'So proud to present you the video from the fairytale of Chefchaouen, Morocco, shot with the Conde Nast Traveler UK,' Porodina said in her post.

Conde Nast Traveler expressed its admiration for Chefchaouen and described the city as follows:

'Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue city set deep in the Rif Mountains outside Tangier, has captivated visitors since its discovery during the Spanish conquest.'

Conde Nast Traveler promised its followers to release the full video in November.

The northern city has become one of the preferred destinations for artists and tourists. In May, Russian-Swiss, model, actress and entrepreneur Xenia Tchoumitcheya visited Chefchaouen. She took to her Instagram account to share with her followers her happiest moments in Morocco.

Earlier this year, Conde Nast Traveler released a list of the 50 world's most beautiful cities in the world. It ranked Chefchaouen as the sixth most beautiful city in the world.
