Kuwait- KPC announces LPG prices for Oct.

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced new prices of liquefied petroleum (LPG) for the month of October.
The price of propane will be sold at USD 340 per meteric ton; butane will be sold at USD 370 per meteric ton, KPC said in a statement on Friday.
Propane or butane are flammable mixtures of hydrocarbon gases; they are used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, and vehicles.
Prices of liquefied gases are affected by international oil prices, the performance of the US dollar against other main currencies, natural disasters, economic crises and geopolitical factors. (end) fnk.mt
