Ex St. Louis Rams Fan Questions if God is Upset at the NFL

(MENAFNEditorial) Ex St. Louis Rams Fan Questions if God is Upset at the NFL Posted by admin on September 28, 2016

With the Hall of Fall Game being canceled, historically low TV ratings for Monday Night Football and the backlash the NFL received over Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem, the 2016 NFL season has gotten off to a rocky start. Kymo Dockett, the editor of The Love Outreach, seems to think that God is upset at the NFL.

This ex St. Louis Rams fan believes that God wants to use the NFL's early season struggles to help warn a league who God has blessed to make billions of dollars to turn from what Mr. Dockett believes are decisions that are offending God. When asked for an example of how the NFL is currently offending God, Mr. Dockett had this to say: "If you see what occurred in St. Louis and what is presently going on in Oakland, San Diego, and several other NFL cities, I believe that some of the NFL owners are taking advantage of working class people by pushing some city officials to build stadiums with tax payer's money that many cities can''t afford."

Like a growing number of football fans, Mr. Dockett is currently boycotting the NFL as he educates the general public on the NFL's transgressions with the hope it will change its culture. Fans boycotting seems to be working. Monday Night Football (MNF), the NFL";s oldest prime time game, has plummeted in popularity. MNF has averaged 11.8 million viewers through the first two weeks, down from the 13.4 million viewers it averaged in the same period last year. Week 3 ratings hit an all-time low for the MNF franchise with only 8.047 million viewers as they went head to head with the presidential debate.

If you have read Mr. Dockett's blog (TheLoveOutreach.com), he comes across as this generation's John the Baptist as he is often critical of the NFL in his weekly column Faith, Family & NFL Football. Whether talking about how the owner of the Rams Stan Kroenke left St. Louis in debt, or how the NFL has suspended players for voicing their opinions against homosexuality, he seems to be determined to help the NFL get back on the straight and narrow.
