King of Jordan Approves New Government of Jordan


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman, September 28 (QNA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan issued Wednesday a Royal Decree approving the new government led by Hani Mulki.
The new cabinet includes 29 ministers. There were three deputy prime ministers. The first was Jawad Ahmad Anani, responsible for economic affairs and the state minister for investment affairs. The second is Mohammad Mahmoud Thneibat, responsible Services Affairs and Minister of Education. The third is Nasser Judeh who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs.
All in all there were four ministers that left their post in the new cabinet. They included the former minister of agriculture and the minister of higher education.
Jordanian news agency Petra news reported today that the prime minster and his new cabinet were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a ceremony that was attended by HRH Prince Raed Bin Zaid chief of Chamberlain, Royal Court Chief, the King's advisor for military affairs and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, the director of the King's Office, the King's advisors, and the Royal Court secretary general.
