Royal Decree Approves Mulqi's New Government

A Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday approving the new government led by Hani Mulqi.

Following is the line-up of the new Cabinet:

1. Hani Mulqi: Prime Minister and Minister of Defence

2. Jawad Ahmad Anani: Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and State Minister for Investment Affairs

3. Mohammad Mahmoud Thneibat: Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs and Minister of Education

4. Nasser Judeh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs

5. Salamah Hammad : Minister of Interior

6. Hazim Kamal Al Nasser: Minister of Water and Irrigation

7. Adel Issa Tweisi: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

8. Musa Habis Al Maayteh: Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of State

9. Nabeeh Jamil Shoqem: Minister of Culture

10. Imad Najib Fakhouri: Minister of Planning and International Cooperation

11. Ali Thahir Ghazawi: Minister of Labour

12. Mahmoud Yassin Shayyab: Minister of Health

13. Wajeeh Tayeb Azayzeh: Minister of Social Development

14. Yassin Muheeb Khayyat: Minister of Environment

15. Walid Muhyddin Masri: Minister of Municipal Affairs

16. Ibrahim Hassan Saif: Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources

17. Mohammad Momani: Minister of State for Media Affairs

18. Sami Jreis Halasah: Minister of Public Works and Housing

19. Majd Mohammad Shweikah: Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Minister of Public Sector Development

20. Omar Zuheir Malhas: Minister of Finance

21. Rami Saleh Wreikat: Minister of Youth

22. Fawaz Najib Irsheidat: State Minister for Prime Ministry Affairs

23. Wael Arabiyat: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs

24. Lina Enab: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities

25. Khalid Mousa Hunifat: Minister of Agriculture

26. Yousif Mohammad Theib Mansour: Minister of State for Economic Affairs

27. Bisher Hani Khasawneh: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

28. Yaroub Falah Qudah: Minster of Industry, Trade and Supply

29. Awad Abu Jarrad Mashaqbeh: Minister of Justice

30. Malik Boulous Haddad: Minister of Transport

The prime minster and his new cabinet were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a ceremony that was attended by HRH Prince Raed Bin Zaid chief of Chamberlain, Royal Court Chief, the King's advisor for military affairs and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, the director of the King's Office, the King's advisors, and the Royal Court secretary general.
