(MENAFN) British Petroleum signed three concession amendments for the Temsah, Ras El Barr and Nile Delta Offshore concessions in Egypt.
Additionally, the amendments allowed for the economic development of the Nooros development, where the firm recently achieved record production.
The amendments also allowed the discovery and fast track development of the Nooros fields in the Nile Delta offshore concession which achieved production of 700mmscfd.
BP will also drill extra wells in Ras El Barr and Temsah areas that are predicted to bring notable gas to the Egyptian local market.
