Qatar- ACTA Holds Training Session on UN Convention Against Corruption


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha, September 27 (QNA) - The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority began today, a regional training session on the review of the implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The two-day training session aims mainly to brief the participants on the UN Convention against Corruption and to develop their abilities to participate in an effective mechanism details, through the exchange of information in the field of implementation of the Convention.
Participate in training session include a number of governmental experts from Arab and GCC countries in addition to the National Expert Group of the State of Qatar, including in addition to the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, Qatar Central Bank, the public prosecution, and the Ministry of Administrative Development and Social Affairs and Labour, the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Judicial Council, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and the national Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.(QNA)
