Kuwait- MoH to provide qualified nurses to serve students

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: The ministries of Health and Education have coordinated their efforts to provide the new schools with male and female nurses during the new academic year, reports Al-Anba daily sources. Sources revealed most of nurses will be Arabs to ensure flexibility in dealing with the students. They confirmed the constant cooperation between the two ministries in this regard, asserting the Ministry of Health spares no effort in providing the most qualified nursing staff to better serve the students. On the other hand, sources said the inspection visits started recently in all Health Ministry sectors including hospitals and 42 health centers to follow-up the fingerprint attendance system and determine the absent employees during Eid holiday in order to take legal action against them. Dr Yacoub Al-Tamar and Dr Suleiman Al-Harbash, heads of Kuwait's health offices in London and Germany respectively, will return to the country soon as their tenure ended on the first of this month, reports Al- Anba daily quoting a reliable source. The source added the Ministry of Health has cancelled the decision to terminate the services of Health Attaché in Washington Dr Khalid Abdul Ghani, disclosing the minister is expected to announce a number of changes in October. The source hinted on the possibility of reshuffling senior officials in various sectors, departments, foreign offices, health districts and hospitals. The source went on to say the doctors, nurses, pharmacists and executives who have been in service for more than 35 years will be referred for retirement soon.
