(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha, September 26 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani opened on Monday morning the International Diabetes Leadership Forum at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
The two-day forum will discuss the most prominent health challenges of diabetes and means of combating them with a broad participation of internationally recognized experts.
The forum is held in cooperation between the Ministry of Public Health and Action on Diabetes (AoD) partners - Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Healthcare Corporation, Qatar Diabetes Association and a number of companies and institutions, sponsors and supporters of the forum.
The forum brings together leading diabetes experts and academics in health care field, patient organizations, healthcare professionals and non-governmental organizations (NGO) from around the world with leaders from the healthcare sector, policy makers, and government officials from the State of Qatar and GCC countries.
