Gulf Air takes Qatari media team to Bahrain

DOHA: Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, and Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, recently sponsored a media familiarisation trip to Bahrain with tailored itineraries that gave the media representatives the opportunity to experience Bahrain";s most iconic attractions.

During the three-day visit, the participants, in collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, experienced the comfort of flying with Gulf Air, residing at one of the Kingdom";s five star hotels and enjoying some of Bahrain";s most notable touristic sights and sounds.

During a meeting with Gulf Air";s Chief Commercial Officer, Ahmed Janahi, during their visit to the airline";s headquarters, the Gulf Air official told them about the importance of media role and function, the partnership between them and Gulf Air to promote the Kingdom";s tourism capabilities and raise awareness of all that Bahrain and its national carrier had to offer.

Gulf Air is a major international carrier serving 40 cities in 23 countries spanning three continents. The airline operates one of the largest networks in the Middle East, with double daily flights or more to 10 regional cities, in addition to select destinations in the Indian Sub-continent and Europe, from its hub at Bahrain International Airport.

The airline currently operates 42 weekly flights between Doha and Bahrain.
