Fox moves ahead with spy thriller 'Jake Ellis'

LOS ANGELES, Aug 6, (RTRS): Fox is moving ahead with its spy thriller 'Who Is Jake Ellis?' movie project, tapping Josh Mond ('James White') to direct its adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel. Variety reported in 2014 that David Yates was attached to direct from a script by Seth Lochhead with Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping producing through Chernin Entertainment. The original comicbook series, written by Nathan Edmondson and drawn by Tonci Zonjic, was first published in 2011. The story revolves around a former spy on the run protected by a mysterious man named Jake Ellis who's visible only to the former spy.
