EU aims to tap Iran's huge clean energy endeavors

(MENAFN) Many European nations have realized a very lucrative element that concerns Iran other than its oil industry, and that's clean energy, thus it's currently seeking opportunities for solar power generation.

In accordance, many top experts stated that the Islamic Republic's potential for Photovoltaics (PV) is extremely high, having an excellent solar irradiation and extraordinary electricity demand.

There is a fairly well standardized process defined which gives confidence to investors, thanks to the great efforts of the Renewable Energy Organization of Iran (SUNA), for large scale PV power plant above 100 kWp.

Moreover, PV is the name of a method for converting solar energy into direct current electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibit the photovoltaic effect, a phenomenon commonly studied in physics.
