DP World future leaders visit UAE Embassy in Singapore

SINGAPORE / DUBAI, 31st May, 2016 (WAM) -- Future leaders of DP World UAE Region met Abdullah Al Mandoos, Acting Charge d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Singapore this week as part of their Advance Leadership Development Programme.

Mr. Al Mandoos welcomed 17 UAE national employees at the UAE Embassy in Singapore where they discussed bilateral business and trade relations as well as Singapore's successful experience in leadership, innovation and how DP World can benefit from the such leading experience.

The visit to the embassy is part of an 18 month programme to visit a number of Fortune 500 Companies in Singapore, to support the development of an Emirati leadership talent pool designed to place individuals in strategic leadership roles.

The Advance Leadership Development Programme is organised in association with The University of Arizona Eller College of Management to foster the development of management skills among talented Emirati nationals.

Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World UAE Region, said, "As our most important asset, we invest in our people to equip them with the skills to innovate and drive change. The UAE is the largest trading partner of Singapore in the Middle East and Singapore was the first country outside the region to sign a Free Trade Agreement with GCC nations.
