Sandy Batista, Curriculum Associates Director of Customer Service and Warehouse Operations, noted, “We had certainly outgrown the facilities we had in the past. We were not able to handle the volume of orders we were receiving and if we hadn’t moved into this facility, we would not have been able to fulfill orders on time. This new system allows us to guarantee products going out the door on time.”
Rick McMorrow, VP of Information Technology, added, “In one month after opening the new facility, we processed 1,600,000 units which is approximately a million more that we had done prior. Bastian Consulting came in and listened to our requirements, evaluated our pain points in our current system, and discussed our goals to be able to handle the scale and automation we needed to move toward to continue to satisfy our customers. They were heavily involved in the design process.”
