Air France-KLM cuts losses in Jan-March

(MENAFN) Air France-KLM has narrowed net losses and had steady incomes in the first three months, as net loss totaled USD178.1mn as opposed to USD642.3mn in last year's same period.

Air France-KLM stated that there was high level of uncertainty regarding fuel prices and unit revenue due to geopolitical context and industry capacity, but managed to emerge unharmed.

Moreover, Air France"KLM is a Franco-Dutch airline holding firm incorporated under French law with its headquarters at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Tremblay-en-France, near Paris.

"Despite a difficult environment marked in particular by the Brussels attacks, the group could limit the unit revenue decline and retain a substantial part of the fuel savings," said a firm's official.
