Laing O'Rourke's gross profit exceeds USD41m in 2015


(MENAFN) Laing O'Rourke, the British multinational construction company posted a gloriousUSD41.9 million in net profit throughout the past year, therefore securing its place as UK's largest privately owned construction firm.

On 11-Jan 2016, the company had begun the formal sale process of selling its Australian business, which was a result of multiple unsolicited offers and a desire to invest more heavily in the company's UK operations.

Moreover, Laing O'Rourke has operations in two major geographic hubs, Europe and Australia; EU's operations span Abu Dhabi, Canada and the UK, and the Australian covers Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Additionally, the major giant operates in wide range of aspects including building construction, infrastructure construction, investment & development, modular manufacturing, engineering expertise and support services.
