Jordan- Social development minister, Saudi counterpart discuss cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Minister of Social Development Reem Abu Hassan on Tuesday, discussed with Saudi Minister of Social Affairs Majid Al Qasabi, means to boost social cooperation between the two countries.

Abu Hassan voiced willingness to sign cooperation agreements with the Saudi side and exchange expertise between the two countries in social work field.

During the meeting, the ministry's media spokesperson Fawaz Ratrout presented a briefing on the vision and accomplishments of the ministry that has 3000 employees, and a budget of JD125 million.

The Saudi minister expressed desire to establish a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Social Development in the interest of both sides, and benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the social work field.

The two sides agreed to hold bilateral meetings for officials form both countries to reach a unified law for social work.
