(MENAFN) Qatar Shipping Company, a subordinate entirely owned by Milaha, announced full acquisition of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, Milaha Ras Laffan and Milaha Qatar, from Societe Generale, The Peninsula reported.
Milaha already owns 60 percent stake in both of these entities, hence, the deal entailed purchasing the remaining 40 percent in each to complete the transaction and undertake full ownership.
"This transaction reflects our disciplined execution of our long term strategy of investing in core businesses," Chairman of Milaha said in a statement.
