Kahramaa unveils 24 e-services


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has launched 27 new online services on its website km.qa, taking the number of online services for customers, companies, consultant and contractors to 45.

The new services include disconnection, re-connection, meter demolition, request for reading correction, update customer from Qatari to regular and regular to Qatari.

Services for consultants and contractors include registration, materials certificate request, trade licence and connection. New services are added to e-services, including bill view and payment, service tracking, meter reading, certificates and other business services of tenders, auctions, and awards.

Kahramaa has also launched an e-service for customer to get "to whom it may concern" certificate defining residence area as per electricity number to submit when applying for school.

Companies can register at the site to buy tenders and submit documents online. The site provides other services, including electricity and water tariff in QR by sector. Customers can also review and pay bills online.
