UAQ Crown Prince briefed on NCEMA's programmes and plans


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, has been briefed on strategic programmes, objectives, specialties and plans of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, NCEMA.

He was also briefed on its role in coordinating efforts, policies, and national procedures aimed at overseeing management of crises and emergency at the national level.

This came when H.H. Sheikh Rashid received a delegation from NCEMA, led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosni, Director-General of the authority, in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Qaiwain.

Al Hosani gave a presentation on the efforts exerted by the authority in the field of developing mechanisms of emergency and crises management as well as its plans and strategies which come within the national system and in cooperation with other ministries and authorities in the country.

He also underscored the importance of applying sustainable and continuous procedures in vital departments in the emirate to enable them to provide the necessary services for the public.

Sheikh Rashid underscored the importance of increasing coordination and preparedness level among federal and local departments which are aimed at leveraging efficiencies of human resources in these departments. He also praised the role being played by the authority in the emirate.

Nasser bin Saeed Al-Talay, Director of the Emiri Court of Umm Al Quwain and other NCEMA officials attended the meeting.
