(MENAFN- Arab Times) General Assembly members of Qadisiya Club Saoud Abdul Aziz Al-Babtain and Mohammad Abdul Aziz Al-Babtain organized a ceremony in honor of the number one football team in Qadisiya Club for winning the Amir Cup for the 16th time in its history.
In a press statement, the club disclosed the ceremony was held at Babtain Diwaniya in Nuzha with the attendance of Kuwait Football Federation and Kuwait Olympic Committee Chairman Sheikh Talal Al-Fahad, board members of Qadisia Club, champions of the cup and former international players of the national team Jassem Yaqoob, Hussein Al-Mukeimi, Jamal Mubarak and many other prominent personalities.
Board Chairman of Qadisia Club Sheikh Khalid Al-Fahad was absent for health reasons but he made a telephone call to the organizers, praising the efforts exerted by the athletes who added another achievement to the club's history.
Meanwhile, in his speech at the event, Mohammad Al-Babtain praised the achievements of Qadisiya Football Team and thanked the team's fans for their unwavering support and for encouraging the team to always remain on top.
Moreover, Director of the team Mohsen Ghanem expressed his gratitude for this great achievement while thanking the Babtain family for holding this event that has become an annual tradition. He lauded the important role played by Board Chairperson Sheikh Khalid who is considered the 'engineer' of the club's achievements through all the forms of support he has been providing despite the pressure that the team experienced this season.
On the other hand, the Amir Cup champions also expressed their gratitude and happiness for this event which they consider a motivation to continue doing their best in every game.
