Kuwaitis proud of nat'l pavilion at Expo Milan 2015


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The spouse of Kuwait's General Consul in Milan and North Italy, Abdul-Nasser Bou-khaddour, praised here role of the Kuwaiti pavilion organizers in Expo Milan 2015, especially the Kuwait women.

Sheikha Al-Resheid in remarks to KUNA following her visit to the pavilion, and meeting the organizing team, expressed her happiness for the remarkable success it gained, which is reflected by the high visitor turnout, especially by children and youth.

The exerted efforts and outstanding role played by the work team for months to present the Kuwaiti pavilion in such distinguished layout, indicates Kuwait's civilized image among the world nations, Al-Resheid affirmed.

She called on all Kuwaitis to visit the pavilion which presents to its visitors the country's achievements and humanitarian role, which is a source of pride to each Kuwaiti citizen.

The three-floor Kuwaiti pavilion, 12 meters in height, is operated by 100 workers and visited by 11,000 to 14,000 people daily.

Expo Milan 2015 is an international event which lasts for six months, during which a group of experts, artists, investors and researches from various parts of the world gather in such a venue, themed "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life".

It aims at promoting awareness, education and stimulating discussions on issues of food production, health and energy.
