Kuwaiti lawmakers arrive in Honduras


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation has arrived in the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpaon, the second leg of a tour that already took them to Mexico in a mission to boosting mutual cooperation and coordination between Kuwait and Honduras at international quarters.

The Kuwaiti National Assembly's Fourth Friendship Parliamentary Group arrived here, late on Sunday.

Ambassador Sameeh Hayat, who welcomed the delegation, headed by MP Youssef Al-Zalzalah, indicated that the team's mission would contribute in bolstering Kuwaiti-Honduran relations. He also noted that the delegation would hold meetings with senior government officials, lawmakers and business leaders during the four-day visit.

An agreement is also expected to be signed tomorrow concerning bilateral cooperation between the two sides, especially in parliamentary relations, Hayat, Kuwait's Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident ambassador to Honduras, said in a statement.
