(MENAFN- QNA) HE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major-General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met Wednesday with Turkish Minister of Defense Ismet Yilmaz on the sidelines of the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2015), which was opened yesterday in Istanbul by President Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
The meeting reviewed issues of mutual interest and discussed aspects of military cooperation between Qatar and Turkey.
HE Al Attiyah also met today with Turkish land forces commander General Hulusi Akar on the sidelines of the event. They exchanged points of views on issues of common concern.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al-Shafi attended the meetings along with the delegation accompanying HE the minister and a number of Turkish officials.
