(MENAFN- The Peninsula) North Indians' Association celebrated the harvest festival Baisakhi recently at Al Ghazal hall. Nearly 200 members joined the cultural programme organised by the association on a Bollywood theme.
The event was sponsored by Al Ali Singhco, Shoprite, Al Maya International, Qatar Canadian Company and Ali Bin Ali.
Programme kicked off with singing performances by its members followed by several cultural dance performances by children and adults.
Dance performance by guest artist Rahul Gupta and Seema Gupta, professional classical dancers, was the special attraction during the event.
Cultural programme was coordinated by Kuldeep Kour Bahl, Monika Modi, Abhijit Sarkar and Pooja Jiandani whereas administrative work was handled by Harish Kanjani, Sanjay Arora, Mukesh Singh, Praveen Sharma, Sudhir Gupta, Punit Jain, Naresh Lalwani, Milan Arun and Jatinder Bajaj.
The programme concluded with the introduction of new members, lucky draws and DJ performance.
