Egypt targets USD6.43b French investments in 2017


(MENAFN) Egypt eyes increasing the size of French investments in the country to reach USD6.43 billion in 2017, according to the president of Egyptian-French Business Council, Amwal Alghad reported.

Egypt wants the French investments volume to hit USD3.75 billion by the end of this year and ultimately to reach USD6.43 billion by 2017. It is said that the volume in 2014 was USD3.21 billion.

France has already agreed upon a number of transactions for implementing some projects in Egypt such as the third metro line project, which has an estimated worth of USD1.4 billion.
