Jordanian Government Condemns Execution of Japanese Hostage

(MENAFN- QNA) The Jordanian government strongly condemned on Sunday Daash killing of Japanese hostage journalist Kenji Goto.

Jordanian Minister of Information Affairs and Government Spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani said in a statement today that Jordan has spared no efforts to maintain the life of the Japanese hostage and to secure his release and had been on continuous contacts and coordination with the friendly Japanese government to cooperate in this regard.

He stressed that daash organization has rejected all attempts made by competent bodies to secure the release of the Japanese hostage, saying this confirms the organization's use of terrorist and killing means.

Dr. Al-Momini meanwhile stressed that Jordan with all its bodies is continuing its efforts to know about the safety of the Jordanian pilot and that he is still alive to secure his release and return to Jordan.
