He jumped at an altitude of 13500 feet thus becoming the first parachutist from the region and the world's third who was able to make such an achievement.

In statements to KUNA following the jump he dedicated the achievement to His Highness the Amir and the Kuwaiti people and government.

Kamshad tanked the UAE government and the organizers of the event as well as Kuwait consulate in Dubai Emirate and Consul General Thiab Al-Rashidi.

'For a long time I had the dream of making this adventure to prove the hypothesis that man can overcome whatever difficulties posed by disability' he said noting that his disability resulted from a military training while in service.

He noted that while training on parachuting he invented a device to fix his legs in order to make him better able to jump for a skydive.

The device was manufactured by the artificial limb center affiliated to the Ministry of Health he added.
