Dubai's DDF sales hit USD51.41m

(MENAFN) Dubai's Duty Free announced that it has registered USD51.41 million in its sales during its 72 hours sales from December 17th to December 22th, increasing by 21.85 percent compared with the same period last year, Gulf News reported.

DDF attributed the growth in its sales to Dubai International witnessing its busiest day passenger-wise this year on December 19, with over 80.000 passengers using the airport.

In terms of merchandise, perfumes lead the sales, with USD7.58 million in sales, followed by watches as the second most popular category with sales of USD6.88 million, and cosmetics with sales of USD3.78 million.
