Kuwait donates EUR 117,000 to construct Islamic ctr in Poland


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait has donated EUR 117,000 for construction of an Islamic cultural center in the village of Kruszyniany in northeastern Poland, where minority Muslim Tatars live, Kuwait Embassy in Poland said Tuesday.

This donation is a part of various philanthropic and humanitarian projects in which the Kuwait leadership is keen on to support in favor of Muslims in all around the world, Kuwaiti Ambassador Adel Mohammad Hayat said in a statement, sent to KUNA in Vienna.

For his part, Ibrahim Telkuveski, president of the Islamic League, valued the efforts exerted by Kuwait, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to spread the Islamic culture in European societies.
