(MENAFN- QNA) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met today at his Emiri Diwan Office with Ambassador of the Republic of Uruguay Jose Luis Remedi whose term of office has expired
At the outset of the meeting HH the Emir presented the Uruguay Ambassador with the Sash of Merit in recognition of the efforts he exerted to enhance relations between the two countries wishing him success in his future posting and relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uruguay further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Uruguayan Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir and officials in the state for the cooperation he received during his tenure.
