InterContinental revenues grew in Q3


(MENAFN) InterContinental Hotels Group booked growing quarterly revenues per room, buoyed by the United States, and expressed optimism over the annual outlook, AFP reported.

Global revenue per available room (RevPAR) grew by 7.0 percent in the third quarter, compared with a year earlier, the group said.

The performance was led by 8.4 percent increase in the United States and 6.1 percent growth in Europe.

RevPAR is measured by multiplying a hotel's average daily room rate by its occupancy rate.
