Bahraini Gulf Air resumes its service to India's Hyderabad

(MENAFN) Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, announced it is planning to resume its service to Hyderabad, which is the fourth most populous city in India, as an addition to its Indian services which include Cochin, Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai, Arabian Business reported.

The resumption of the service, which was stopped by the carrier in 2009 as part of a cost-cutting strategy, comes following Gulf Air's successful resumption of operations to Thiruvananthapuram last year and is set to begin on December 15.

"We are further strengthening our Indian operations after the successful launch of flights to Thiruvananthapuram in December 2013. Now with the addition of Hyderabad, our sixth Indian destination, we are connecting south-central India to the Middle East " and we hope this route will appeal to travelers and be just as successful as our existing India operations," The airline's acting CEO said.
