Saudi, France trade hits USD121.23b


(MENAFN) The volume of trade between Saudi Arabia and France reached SRUSD121.23 billion in the last 20 years (1994-2013) with a growth rate estimated at 166.7 percent, Arab News reported.

In the list of countries Saudi Arabia sent exports to by the end of 2013, France came in the 11th rank at a value of USD8.58 billion, or 2.3 percent of the Kingdom's total exports to foreign countries.

In 2013, the trade balance witnessed a strong growth at 69.3 percent in favor of the Kingdom at USD1.36 billion.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom the value of imported goods from France hit USD5.25 billion by the end of 2013, an increase of 5.7 percent and representing some 3.1 percent of the Kingdom's total imports in 2013.
