UAE's ad spending hits USD819m in H1


(MENAFN)Based on a newly released estimate, the UAE's ad spending hit USD819 million in the January-June period, rising 5 percent compared to USD788 million for the same period last year, Gulf News reported.

Within the companies, Carrefour took first place in print-related advertisement, while Arabtec, the construction major, spent the most when it comes to television exposure. Etisalat dominated when it came to radio advertisements and the campaigns made by DSF were the biggest in outdoor media.

Meanwhile, the April-June period, spending reached USD421 million compared to USD397 million in the same period last year.
