Kuwait's Extraordinary Ambassador delivers credentials in Thailand


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The State of Kuwait's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, Abdullah Al-Sharhan, has officially delivered his credentials to the Thai King, Bhumibol Adulyadej, as Kuwait's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Monarchy.

In a statement to KUNA by telephone, Ambassador Al-Sharhan said the Crown Prince, Maha Vajiralongkorn, represented the Monarch at the ceremonial delivery of the credentials.

Ambassador Al-Sharhan stated further that he relayed warm greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Thai King, wishing him good health and the Kingdom of Thailand further progress and prosperity.

The Thai Heir Apparent, for his part, conveyed the Monarch's salutes to His Highness the Amir, praising the good ties bonding the two friendly countries, recalling His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad's participation in the 60th anniversary celebration of crowning the King.

The veteran Kuwaiti diplomat added that he, during the meeting, affirmed the closeness of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and Kuwait's full readiness to boost these ties in all sectors and at all levels.

Ambassador Al-Sharhan had served in Zimbabwe before he was assigned to Thailand, arriving in the capital Bangkok last November.
