Majid Al Futtaim posts USD3.5b H1 revenues


(MENAFN) Dubai-based shopping mall developer Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) posted a 14 percent growth in the first-half revenues, citing growing earnings across its business units, Emirates 24/7 reported.

The company, which owns and operates Carrefour franchise in the Middle East, made USD3.5 billion in the first-half, it said in a statement.

The Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) from recurring operations grew 13 percent annually to USD489.9 million in the same time period.

MAF, builder of Dubai's indoor ski slope, said it recorded growth across its three business units.
